I can understand the how much easier this would make the depressing task of keeping all the post in check, but the concept of "12 hours isn't too long to wait" is a matter of opinion. There are times when a new topic or post stands in the way of progress, and even 1 hour is too long. the only solution i could figure is recruiting more Moderators, to the point of ALWAYS having at least 1 or 2 online at all times.
Now i know that you're thinking "Be patient", but unfortunately, those of us who are a bit older, have to maintain a work schedule, meaning that we don't really have much time inbetween, work, eating, sleeping, showering, shopping, etc, to sit around for 12 hours waiting on approval in order to make a single step in progress.
Example: I just attempted to post a "I need help" type of topic, requesting a link to the old "Family Code List" in these forums for dragon masters. I will need to get to bed soon, but i was hoping to have my 50 invites sent before i hit the sack. this probably wont happen. I need my topic approved, so that all the other people surfing the forums can see and respond. I will still have no help, in my goal of sending invites TONIGHT before i have to go to sleep. Mildly irritating.
With all this said, no matter how much sense it has made, the fact remains that this system will remain. I know this. I don't intend on continuously complaining. It's here to stay.
